Amanfayun Hangzhou is located between the valleys on the west side of the West Lake, 20 minutes' drive from the center of Hangzhou. On both sides of the road, there are dense bamboo forests and green vegetation. After passing the botanical garden and the inner waterway of the West Lake, you can come to Tianzhu temple and ancient Tianzhu village. Fayun aman is located on the other side of Tianzhu ancient village, at the foot of the north peak, adjacent to Lingyin Temple and Yongfu temple. It covers a total area of 14 hectares, including the surrounding tea gardens; A total of 47 homes, built in the Tang Dynasty, were once occupied by nearby tea garden villagers.
On its side, next to Lingyin Temple is Yongfu temple; Up to the mountainside, you can see the sea view tower of taoguang temple. You can see the West Lake and Hangzhou city from the mountains and valleys. Lingshun temple is located at the top of the north peak. It is the commanding height of Hangzhou. It has a history of 1600 years. There are many fireworks and pilgrims here, praying for wealth. Along Meiling North Road, there is a corridor in the other direction to Fayun aman, which is the first pilgrimage road of Tianzhu (called Tianzhu in ancient China), connecting the upper, middle and lower three Tianzhu temples.
Between the shade and green bamboo, you can walk along a narrow road to the reception desk of Fayun aman. From there, you can follow a path to the main road of the resort - Fayun path. Fayun path connects all guest rooms (courtyard houses) and hotel facilities. The houses here can be traced back to a hundred years ago. Now they are renovated with traditional methods and techniques. Brick walls and roofs, civil structures, indoor walkways and floors are all paved with stone. With a total length of 600 meters, Fayun path also leads to hotel restaurants, teahouses, boutiques and ruoshuiliao.
On the east side of it, there is a small stream flowing slowly from south to north. It used to be the gathering place of the daily life of the ancient village. After a hard day's work in the tea garden, the villagers gathered here in the afternoon, bathing, dressing and chatting.
